改變人生,從跑步開始:甩掉120磅、啟動新生活的汗水旅程
這本不是教你如何專業地跑步的書籍,而是以作者自身經驗告訴讀者跑步其實沒那麼複雜。
這本書沒有詳細又專業的教學以及專有名詞,有的只是作者個人親身經驗以及簡單的訓練計畫。
一個早上讀完後,發現是對我最有用的跑步書籍。以往買的幾本書不是太過複雜,就是太專業,光是閱讀就令人吃足苦頭了,慢跑之心全然無存。
但這本給我一個很重要的觀念,那就是跑步沒那麼複雜,一開始跑就對了。正如同作者提到騎腳踏車也無須先閱讀太多書籍,只要騎就對了。等到騎出興趣來,自然會去找相關書籍或購買裝備來啦。
這幾年來,我有個缺點就是覺得凡是都要準備好才正式開始。但,光是準備的過程就足以消磨幹勁了,真正要動身時卻連起身都懶得起身。世界沒那麼複雜,做,然後享受,然後起疑,然後投入,一切都是渾然天成,無人工之跡。
就好似兒子出生前,我拼命想閱讀育兒書籍,卻怎麼看都感到不紮實、沒心得。但兒子出世後,突然對那些書產生了很多感覺,讀起來也踏實,而非「為了讀而讀」。
總之,本書沒有涉及太多跑步的技術性訓練方法,一邊呈獻給讀者簡單易吸收的訓練法,一邊敘述自己從胖子到長跑健將的過程,讀起來無艱澀之處,又饒富趣味。
當然,缺點就是對想要專業訓練法的讀者來說,幾乎毫無幫助。不過,中高階跑者大概不會對本書的標題有興趣吧?
