洞悉價格背後的心理戰:訂價不是數學而是心理學,開價、議價、談判的技術
《洞悉價格背後的心理戰》看上去似乎是商學書籍,但實際翻閱內容後覺得比較像心理學書籍。本書主要介紹『錨定效應』對價格帶來的影響。也就是說在資訊不透明的情況下,價格貴不貴並非絕對,而是基於最初所獲得的價格。前半部闡述理論基礎;後半部則以實例(各種心理學實驗)來佐證。
書本很厚,初見感覺要讀很久,但弄清了架構後,讀了六成後就決定收手。
最大的收穫應是「錨定效應」、「喊價愈高獲得愈多」、「最後通牒遊戲」。
錨定效應是一種可在定價或報價時使用的技巧。目的在於讓你真正想賣給對方的看起來很便宜。當然,前提是對方不太清楚實際的成本。例如,精品店內陳列要價10000美元的包包,目的不在於販售,而是讓其他產品「看起來很便宜」。雖說很多人認為自己不會受錨定效應的影響,但事實上恐非如此。
「喊價」也是一門藝術。通常人們以為高喊價並非一個好策略,但研究顯示,最初的喊價帶有「錨定」的效果。假設我有一物成本40,若我喊100,成交價可能是70;但若一開始只喊70,成交價也許只有50。最初喊價即是錨點,之後不論如何殺,也都會以錨點為基礎。故若初始錨點太低,獲利自然少。
最後通牒遊戲,可拿來說明買賣雙方的利潤角力。簡單來說,該遊戲有一提案者與一回應者。提案者手上有筆金額,由他決定留給自己多少、給予回應者多少。回應者若覺得金額太少,也可選擇拒絕接受。研究顯示,多數提案者不會對回應者太差。但是當提案者給予的金額不為人知時,提案者有可能全數獨吞。

總之,我學到一件事。那就是在地攤、路邊攤買東西時,不要傻傻地依照老闆給的價格付帳。我得先假設地攤老闆追求最大利潤,並且早就預留殺價空間。然後就是勇敢地砍價囉。
